ProReal Ltd Privacy statement:
Your privacy and the data security of our software platform is of the utmost importance to us. This statement is about the care we take with your data if you use our website and if you use ProReal’s virtual world avatar technology. To find out more about this, or to request a copy of our Data Protection and Security Policy, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Your data is your data – we limit what we ask you for, restrict our access and take care of it, and we never sell it to others.
How to manage your cookie choices
Most internet browsers accept cookies automatically but you can change the settings of your browser to erase cookies or prevent automatic acceptance if you prefer. The links (below) explain how you can control cookies via your browser - remember that if you turn off cookies in your browser then these settings apply to all websites and may result in parts of other sites no longer working correctly.
Our newsletter database
Visitors to our website can add themselves to our newsletter database. We ask for your first name, last name and email address. We have to keep this information so we store it on a secure, EU-based server and we further protect it using restricted access password-protection. We do not and will never share your details with third parties: we will only use your data to send you our newsletters and details of ProReal Ltd events and webinars. In some cases, we use third party software to send out a newsletter, and this requires us to add your email address to that software.
How we handle your data when you email us or complete a form
We will only use your data to reply to an email enquiry or issue you with an invoice if you have completed a form or order. We will not use this data for any other purposes.
How we handle your data when you use ProReal
In order to register and use ProReal’s virtual world avatar technology, you may be required to provide personal information - typically your name and a valid email address. We need this to establish a user account so that you can access the system securely using your own password. We will not use this data for any other purposes.
When we store your data, we do so only on EU-based servers. We will not knowingly transfer your data outside the EU unless we have your explicit consent.
Protection of ProReal and others
In exceptional circumstances, we may be asked to release personal information when instructed by law enforcement agencies or to protect the safety of ProReal employees, our customers, or others. We reserve the right to do this in good faith and at our sole discretion.
Keeping Your Information
We will only store your name, email and any World data on our systems if: (a) it is needed for the purposes which we have conveyed to you; (b) we are required by law to maintain such information; or (c) it is needed for us to address any issues or inquiries that you may have. When your information is no longer required, or when you ask us to, we will delete all such information.
In order to protect both the personal information and the general information that we receive from you through your use of the ProReal Service, we have implemented various security measures. For example, when you enter sensitive information on our online forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We also follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Please keep in mind, however, that there is always some risk whenever you give out personal information online.
Making changes to your data
We encourage you to update your email address if it changes so that we have a means of contact. You may cancel your account, ask us to tell you and delete any data we have of yours, and/or opt out of ProReal newsletters at any time. To make any changes, or if you have any questions, comments or concerns about our service or this Privacy Statement, please contact us at email@example.com
